Power seat not working. Making noise

Any advice on how to fix this issue? Power deat stoooed working and keeps rattling. This is for the bottom half of the seat to tilt up and down. Also makes this rattling sound. Other power functions work such as reclining moving up and down, forward back. Anyone know how to go about fixing this hopefully cheap as possible thanks

Sounds like a stripped gear or something along those lines. I think that at the very least you'll need to find a workshop manual to see how to get in there. If you search the forum I'm almost certain that someone provided a link to one that could be downloaded.

Just a thought.... Nothing slipped out of pockets, and fell into mechanism?
