I owned a car sales business a few years ago and certainly experienced a great raft of driving different cars, some brilliant ridiculously expensive and performance machines and fast ( Ferrari Aston Martin Rolls Royce etc )  but all with issues that are trounced by the simple all round  quality of a Ls400 

Simply the best car you don't need to tamper with to try to get a better performance from

 

Oh, and I do go to this Livery Company lunches occasionally too

Apologies for fueling the flames. Done nearly 20k Iover the last 2.5 years and loved every mile. Pretty gutted and easily wound up as a result. Thanks to everyone who has helped.

No apology necessary, it's easy to understand your frustration.  Hopefully you'll get another if the current one is dead. There are a few out there, including some good ones. Keep us posted.

Thanks mate - I'm afraid I don't have anywhere near that kind of budget. Hence not being able to repair it at the moment. I'm going to try and do it over time to keep costs down and get a run around in the meantime.
