Rattle from behind the nav screen

I originally posted this on the F section but there were no replies so I thought that i would try and grab a wider audience on here as its driving me mad. 

I have an intermittent rattle coming from behind the nav screen. Occurs at completely random times. Sometimes its after 2 hours of driving, other times it as soon as i pull away. It can also be on smooth or rough roads. I have removed the nav screen and have been driving around without it to try and isolate the rattle but it's difficult to see when it's dark outside. I will try again tomorrow but Im just wondering if anyone else has experienced a similar issue?

Im reluctant to take it to the dealer as its so unpredictable that I doubt it will happen on the day!

You could consider recording it,Oh nameless one, and play the recording to the Dealer?

Thanks for your reply. It’s a good idea but I have done this in the past with my previous car and unfortunately as the rattle didn’t happen on the day they couldn’t locate it.
