FAULT CODE B2438

I have had the fault code B2438 reported on my 2017 Lexus NX, can anyone advise what this code means and what will need to be done to rectify the problem

Putting 'Lexus' &. 'B2438' into Google comes back as the "passenger seatbelt buckle circuit short to ground" so if you haven't had cause to do anything to this then I'd be looking for something that may have fallen into area and damaged wiring in some way.

I went to a dealer and was advised that my forward looking camera needed to be recalibrated based on this fault code, as it was a recalibration it was not covered by the warranty and would cost me £240.00

You have been sold a bum steer Nigel.

A warranty job certainly.I`d call it consequential damage due to a failure of an integral feature.

Agreed. I wouldn't take that lying down. 240 quid fix on a two year old car? Not on your nelly.
