I've never even heard of Catloc but a quick google seems to show lots of info and if you were to buy one I'm sure it'll come with instructions on how to fit it.

thanks for posting.

I had my cat stolen yesterday when it was parked in N London (N15).

I just rang Toyota about the catloc which costs between £200-£250 - they couldn't say if it would fit on a Lexus. Apparently Lexus are looking into manufacturing their own version of the catloc. https://blog.toyota.co.uk/catalytic-converter-theft-how-to-protect-your-car

They say the waiting list for a new cat is about a month, apparently loads of cats have been stolen in the last couple of weeks.

Have a read of this topic - it tells you about aftermarket cats and where to buy.

I had my CAT stolen last night in N London from our RX400 2006. Wow! One month wait is too long. If it's replaced with an original it will most likely get stolen again which has happened to two of my friends. Some people say if you don't replace it with an original it may cause problems with the computer and you won't pass your MOT?

Nah, that's rubbish - plenty people fitting aftermarket cats without problems.

Have a look at https://www.catman.co.uk/

The only reason it will fail an mot is if it doesn't have one fitted.

As above the Catman can supply a ceramic replacement, just needs welding in place.

Apparently he's supplied over 40 Rx cats in the last month alone.

Anyone fitted a catlock yet?
