Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone had found a way of covering the cup holders in an IS300h so the surface is flat?

It's quite uncomfortable for my wife and me when I sit in the passenger seat. The elbow seems to rest right on them.

Such a weird thing to do to such an otherwise comfortable car.

Can anyone recommend anything I can use to cover them?

Thanks

I think some on here have bought the ashtrays with the lids on that fit in the cup holders. I think they are slightly domed but better than the holes

I'd but them in a heartbeat - anyone have any details?

Thanks

The bins stick out of the cup holders however, so perhaps that is not acceptable to your wife's elbows.

its a little more work but you could get a plastic bag and press it into the cupholder holes

spray some expanding foam into the bag once dry you would have the perfect shaped plug

over the top you could then cover it in vinyl / leather.

the long panel the cupholders are fitted in unclips easily hold the panel at the back and give it

a good pull upwards until the whole panel is free, remove wiring plug for the controller then

turn panel upside down and you will see 4 screws that hold the cup holders in place, remove

holder and then apply the cover over the top and refit.
