Well I've finally bought one in the colour I really wanted, i picked it up last Saturday and absolutely love it already.

There was a few stone chips and a bit of paint scraped off the rear bumper near the wheel arch, so I got some paint mixed up and sorted all that out.

Anyway here's some pics

I started with a good clean of all the leather and the rest of the interior, inc stripping the boot out.

Then polished up the headlights then gave it a wash, it still needs a clay polish and wax.

hopefulky next weekend it'll be nice and I can paint the alloys in e-techs gun metal grey.

Ive ordered new front discs and pads along with black gloss paint and white Lexus decals for the calipers.

Also ordered 2x 3.5" exhaust trims to fill those bumper gaps a bit more.

Lots more plans for it but I'll have to wait.

. Hi Dave, i didn't break the bead, i used greetings cards cut up into squares and just push them in the gap around the wheel and tyre, beer mats and playing cards are good to, speeds things up a lot

Fitted new 3.5 inch exhaust trims, think they fill the bumper cut out better than the oem ones.

Also ordered some 8d black carbon wrap to cover up the wood effect inside, some Lexus logo projector puddle lights for the doors and a carbon surround for the push start button.

Weekend jobs are to spray the other 3 wheels, paint calipers satin black and stick the white Lexus decals on the fronts, and hopefully have time to clay, polish and wax.

Had time to wrap the centre console in 8d carbon today! Took a while as there’s quite a few tricky bits, but I’m happy with it, definitely brings the interior up to date a bit more. 19a3aa702d6f645e62893fc6af0c42f9.jpge74da3f4efef9b09c59f8da09aefa5d5.jpg

Heko wind deflectors fitted, they where a pain to fit! Drivers one needed a lot of trimming and some 3M tape and the passenger one wasn’t to bad, just a bit of a trim and 3M tape just to make sure they are solid

Nice mods, been looking at getting some wind deflectors myself,  been looking at the these and the Climair brand! Can't make my mind up on which ones to go for!

Are the climair ones the type that stick on, and not go in the window channel?

I believe they fit into the channel like the Heko ones!

The heko  ones are a bad fit and need trimming where it fits in near the mirror, maybe the other ones are a better fit?

I can't comment on that, but I will be doing more research on them before I take the plunge!

Have you swapped out the interior standard bulbs for LED's yet?
