Front end rattle

I have a Lexus LS 460 2007. Maddening metallic rattle coming from left front wheel area at around 35 mph. Brakes replaced, heat shields checked, steering rack replaced, all ball joints etc checked and OK.. Any ideas would be most welcome

Potentially could be the wheel itself as the wheel nuts can wear the wheel hole centre.

You say the brakes were replaced and the back shields checked but were the discs removed to see if a stone or pebble is stuck between the disc and shield?

Thanks guys, but the Lexus Dealer could not find the source of the noise! Now that the car is out of warranty, that may change. This noise only occurs when driving at this specific speed and only when the front left is going over a rough or uneven surface. Its like someone juggling a bag of spanners. If the road surface is OK there is no noise. Right front is silent at all times. Not having a manual for the car doesnt help as I cant picture what else is in that area that may be the cause, but its definitely speed related. The wheel and stone potential causes have already been ruled out Im afraid. I should have kept my LS 400 like you guys, bulletproof.

I wonder ..  a while ago I had the sound of a load of old tin cans rattling at a certain point and with specific brick road humps ....  turned out to be a heat shield that had dropped from it's rusted 3 bolts holding it up and after 23 years though

Heat shield removed and binned and all fine now
