Reconfigurations

I got myself Lexus Diagnostic software. In there is an option to reconfigure certain things in the car. Or so I’m told. 

However, when I try to access this it asks for my car’s reconfigure code. 

Does anyone know anything about this?

In a word, no, I've never had Techstream ask me for a reconfigure code and I wouldn't know where to look for one.

I just installed Techstream, plugged the laptop into the car and off it goes, access to all menus.

I only just found it. It’s next to the ‘file’ tab. 

Was told it can change things like the reverse bleeper volume etc
