Rear lamp cluster

Not a good day today. Reversed into a pillar in a car park and broke the nearside rear lamp cluster. Immediately phoned the garage to have this replaced and as usual they were very efficient and helpful however was rather taken aback that there are no replacement parts available in the UK or Europe. This will have to be sourced from Japan with a quoted delivery date of 3 September!  Price is also eye-watering! Anybody else having part delays?

Have you considered sourcing one from a breaker's yard?

Yes there are a few Mk1 2014-2017 units available but no current Mk2 versions that I require. Guess I will just have to wait.

Lexus Edinburgh have worked their magic, received the light unit 3 weeks earlier than predicted and have booked my car in for fitting tomorrow!
