In a slow and steady commute high 30's, never made it into the 40's.

Local (we live rural Yorkshire) school run we get high 20's, but very hilly and nearly all slow single track roads, for comparison when my wife had a 1.6 auto astra for a similar journey we were getting high teens.  Wife's average is about 28 including a work commute and school run.

I drove my 2014 RX450h rom Lochgilphead to Campbeltown and back, about 50 miles each way of 60 mph limit rural roads.

I reset fuel economy and got really good figures sitting around 55 mph.

Just back from 800 miles in Sutherland and thereabouts, pretty hilly area and fully laden for fishing, managed 36.2 average. Since May my overall average has been 36.3, definitely better in the warmer weather, winter will bring it down to the early 30s. Would definitely be better if i lived somewhere flatter, and warmer....
