How exactly? And can they be used on an RX with the panoramic moon roof?

Don't know about using with a panoramic moon roof but this is how they fix on:

So it looks like they just clamp inwards against the chassis. I can't see why that wouldn't work on a car with the moon roof..

As long as the bars only rest on the bodywork and not the glass it should be ok no? I guess there may not be much space for them, the glass is pretty wide

I was told that roof bars have not been crash tested with a panoramic roof, so Lexus will not sell them. I have a panoramic roof, albeit with roof rails, and as long as you do not open the panoramic roof you should be ok

@luckyduck did your rails come with the car or did you fit them yourself? i tried asking lexus for rails but they were no help at all

Yep - all part and parcel. I have no idea of cost for buying and fitting seperately. Bear in mind mine is a 450h, so I have no idea if 300's even came with them as an option originally
