Hello! First time post 🙂

am considering a 2004 facelift LS430 that is locally for sale, a small dent on the back, the radar cruise control doesn't work and there's a "knocking" sound from behind the steering wheel and a cracked wing mirror cover and vibration @ 60mph (apparently one wheel needs balancing). Has done 160k and passed last MOT with no advisories and part service history.

Does that sound OK and any ideas on what to offer for it?

Thanks!!

Hi Ben, the 160k isn't an issue but I'd be wanting to know what the knocking is, especially as it has a vibration. The two could well be linked to suspension/steering components which are expensive. I'd want that thoroughly checked. From what you've said I'd be very wary and maybe 2.5k depending on the body/interior.  If the suspension is ok and the knocking is nothing serious then maybe 3.5k max.
