Sun was shining today so i decided to replace the post cat o2 sensor on my 2002 is300 sportcross

Heated it up to give it a fighting chance but as i tried to remove it the whole sensor thread sheared off from the pipe

I have searched for a new y-pipe section to replace but cannot find anything for the is300 sportcross

Available for the is200 but not sure if it uses the same part

Any advice ?

The IS200 uses a different part.

Being a sportcross doesn't make a difference, so one that will fit an IS300 saloon is ok but not the IS200.

I believe the original part code is 17410-46580

Thanks for that, had a little search online and looks like they are pretty hard to get hold of, might see if it can be repaired instead

yeah quite rare, there were only around 1,800 IS300s sold in the UK compared to 34,000 IS200s.

Hopefully a new boss can be welded on easily if the pipe is in good condition.
