Moonroof works periodically

Recently bought a 2014 F sport, notice moonroof sometimes works, sometimes doesn't.  Not sure if temperature has anything to do with it.  The car is at about 8k miles.  Wonder if this is cover under Lexus warranty?

Lexus warranty in UK is for 3 years, Do not know where you are, but if you bought it from a Lexus Dealer, I`d take it back and ask them to fix it free of charge.
