As it was feeling a bit like Spring today, I decided to tackle my filthy NX which has a GTechniq ceramic coat applied. She hadn't been cleaned for a month, and was caked in mud from the rural lanes where I live. I knew I was in for a session rather than a quick maintenance wash.

1. Bilt-Hamber snow foam (using Nilfisk pressure washer)

2. Decontamination using CarPro TriX

3. Body wash using Bilt-Hamber auto wash (wheels with Bilt-Hamber Auto-Wheel)

Once dry...

4. Water spots removed using FSE

5. Layer of Bilt-Hamber Double Speed wax applied

6. c2v3 applied to finish

7. Wheels finished with Bouncers Looking Sweet

8. Glass finished with Bouncers Look Sharp

9. Tyres finished with Bouncers Dress to Impress

10. All door shuts and under bonnet washed and finished with c2v3

11. Exterior plastics maintained using Chemical Guys New Look Trim Gel

12. Finally, a few small stone chips were touched in.

My neighbours think I'm insane, but admit the car is looking pretty good, even though the sun has gone in...☹️

Looks good ! well worth the effort ( ignore the neighbours )  ,I am a fan of Bilt Hamber products but have not come across the Bouncer products you have used ,finish looks good on the wheels and tyres ,have you been using them for long ? the wheels and glass are areas I still need to find better products than the ones I currently use     Dave

Looks great.

One question though, I thought ceramic coatings don’t need waxing, etc, otherwise, what’s the point of having it?

It helps to maintain them, albeit usually with a specialist ‘quick detailer’ type product.

This is the first time I’ve used a wax since it was done in June. Not essential, I just wanted to give it an extra ‘something.’

Yes, been using Bouncers products for a while and get on well with them. The tyre dressing and wheel wax are particularly impressive. The glass cleaner is no better or worse than many others I've used.

Hi thanks for that ,I will try the Bouncers on the wheels and tyres and stick to my fast glass for the windows .In view of the promised good weather next week I plan to do it then

Looking very good - I love that colour

Any reason why you put C2V3 on top of BH DSW? seems a bit counter intuitive?

I wouldn’t have normally done it that way round - the c2v3 won’t really bond to the DSW - but it’s a tip I picked up from the pro that did my car. After wax a quick detail or quick sealant type product helps to remove any excess product, marring etc. And it works!

Had the car since June and have previously only used c2v3 on its own due to the ceramic coat.
