Driving home on Friday I got a text message from the boss which appeared on the dashboard screen, it also read out the message to me when I promted it to..... this is the first time in the four months of having the car this has happened? Ive had plenty of texts while driving but never had one on the screen?

About half an hour earlier I used the screen to dial voicemail and recorded an "out of office message" as I am off for a few days, other than this I cant think of anything else I have done with either my i-phone of the cars Bluetooth?

 

Any Ideas why this has started to work?

I've found that if one has the phone tethering, providing live traffic, parking etc, the text function doesn't work. On my Pixel 2 android.

worked again today... fingers crossed it continues,,,,, dont know why it started but I ike it 😁
