HI all,

I have a question about the Sat Nav in our 2017 Premier model.

Much of the time, roads visible on the display have a many white dots on them. Is this some sort of plotting/tracking/waypoint feature that I can turn off? It's not there all the time but it does tend to dominate the display of some roads.

Any ideas?

Think it indicates where you have previously driven, but I tend to use my tomtom live as the traffic prediction is better.

Are they possibly distance markers ie 100M or 500M for example?

Gonna say it before someone else does...RTFM!

It sounds like you may have accidentally switched Route Trace on. Not sure without looking, but I think you need to go to Menu>Route> and there should be a sub-menu called Route Trace or similar.

My thoughts are the same as @DanD. Route Trace enters the dots to enable you to retrace your journey.

I switched it on when my car was collected to be taken to a bodyshop so I could see if they took any detours. Also reset the MPG to see how they drove it. I normally get 37-40 mpg. If I drive it hard I can get low 30s. They somehow managed to get 25 mpg over a mix of urban and motorway 😮
