LS430 satnav 2002 on 2004?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

As it seems difficult to find a facelift satnav, i was wondering if i could fit a 2002-2003 satnav on my facelift 2004 LS?

2001/2003 86111-50140 86111-50100 2004-2005 86110-50190

i know, facelift model has more options, but i mainly need maintenance, A/C ...

Thanks

I don’t really see why it shouldn’t be ok, the only possible things I can think of that might cause issue is if the newer sat nav drive or ML amplifier isn’t compatible with the older screen assembly.

The annoying thing is that I did have a spare prefacelift sat nav that I haven’t got anymore, I would’ve sent you it to try for free!!! The actual job of changing them over is quite easy to do.

I put a 2004 (ex-Prius) ECU in my 2002 LS and it was fine.  The head end in the car updated itself.  You need to get the correct DVD fro the unit you are fitting or you will have problems.

I scrapped my 430 so don't have any disks to hand.

Thanks a lot guys 😉   i've finally found a 2004 satnav.. expensive but anyway.

Today new surprise, as i have no sound, i decided to take it out my AMP ... and surprise no AMP at all in the boot!!!

i found also two different OE ref 2001/2002 - 86280-0W041   and 2003-2006 - 86280-50330

So mark levinson amp is also different from pre facelift and facelift LS?

thanks again

Both those part numbers are incorrect - the correct part number for the facelift is 86280-0W250 - this is a rare amp

where did you look for the amp in the car?

I will upload some pics of the amp later

Well there is an ECU bolted to the amp - i'm not sure if it controls just the sensors or the camera aswell (or just the camera) you need to do a bit of research and if your is missing you may need to source that too
