I have a lexus ct 200 h 2014. If i were to leave the car headlights lights on after a drive at night will they automatically shut down when i lock all the doors? Or after a certain amount of inactivity?

They should do, I don't think it depends on having the switch set to auto.

When you lock the car, everything should shut down in "about" 30 seconds.

When you lock the doors yes unless you've left a reading light on. In which case it will stay on until the car detects low Battery and then everything will turn off.

If headlights are on auto, they go off as soon as you switch off the ignition. If you have them on manual, then as one opens the driver's door the dash will ping at you. At least on my '16 hybrid.

When they’re set to Auto they stay on when you switch the power switch off but they will go out when you open the drivers door. That’s what mine does.

And once you have powered off and opened the driver's door, you can switch your low beam back on for 40 or so seconds by pulling the lever towards you: I use it to illuminate my drive and front door when I get home at night.
