Tragic news - storm damage

I'm sad to report that the 'home of the F', AV8 in Gloucestershire has been extensively damaged in the stormy weather.

AV8 will remain closed for some time 😪

Yep - it is sad. The Birth place of LOC / WelshBlatter meets is poorly 😢

Every cloud has a silver lining. I've been talking to one of my contacts at Lexus and we are thinking of organising a big F event at AV8 when it reopens!

That's a real shame. I read it was only replaced 3 years ago. airfields by their nature are windy places so guess would have been design for that -  wind speeds must have got pretty high. It was blowy over here but not roof re-movingly bad. Nothing that says anyone was hurt etc which is of course a good thing. It is a good place to meet with lots of parking and interior space. Although need to try it on a nice sunny day as my 1 trip there was quite wet.
