ISF Handsfree

Since buying the F one thing I have noticed is that the handsfree seems to be a bit poor.

I can hear what other people are saying fine but they tend to struggle to hear me at times.

Would everyone else say they have this issue or might I have a problem?

Also where is the microphone located? If I know that I could 'project' in its direction a bit more and make do

Yep, same here or so I’m told, I can’t seem to transfer my contacts either,.....the connection drops off as soon as I “transfer”......which obviously doesn’t 🙄.......only way is to input them manually 😩

Pre-facelift or facelift?

I have no issues whatsoever. Also did the contacts list in about 10 secs. 

Also have voice tags set up. 

Mines a 2010 facelift.

Are you connecting your phone via a USB cable? Works a treat with my Iphone.

I am not sure there is a USB cable on the 08 models....

Ah, sorry about that.

The infotainment software will have been updated with the facelift since it brought with it USB and Bluetooth audio streaming.

However I dont think the microphone itself changed, now I know where it is I might see if I can get at it and see if I could clean or even replace it, getting on for 9 years old after all.

So do you have DAB as well? Weird that you're having issues, pre-facelift makes more sense.

Hi there, @C.B @Womble72 or anyone@, did you fathom the contacts transfer into you ISF. I have the same problem with my 09 plate ISF.  Bluetooth pairing works OK, calls made and received OK but on transferring contacts as per the instructions it drops the Bluetooth connection and goes no further.  Connect back up, try again and sure enough the Bluetooth connection drops out the instant it attempts to download.  How did you get on?

@gb1600e sorry Glynn I’m still no further forward than you, seams to lose blue tooth on transfer, I’ve not tried it BUT my favourites “sometimes” saves, was going to remove ALL favourites and see if that works BUT haven’t got round to it “as yet”
