Good shout with the red lights, you won’t regret it! You’ll have to post some photos once they’re fitted.

I’d like to do the struts myself but I’m in the process of moving house and apparently the car isn’t priority....

Fog lights are built into the indicators so they do both jobs just like the latest Audi lights.

Ah thanks. Made an offer and got the smoked ones for £200.

I offered someone on eBay £200 and he accepted but there was also a £20 customs charge when it arrived 😞 needless to say, they do look good. I opted for the red colour and I’ve got my MOT this weekend but I shouldn’t worry too much as these lights also have a rear fog function. It uses the reversing light as the rear fog. My only downside was that the inner light clusters narrowly scrape the putter light clusters when opening/closing. Not sure if this is a common issue with anyone else but I see it happening on both sides so could just be a defect with mine.

They look great, can't wait to fit mine, have not heard of anyone else reporting issues with the rubbing, once mine are fitted will let you know how the fit is.

Yes they do and are available on the bay

They are well worth the upgrade, had mine installed nearly a year now, no problems as yet!

How easy are they to fit yourself?

Yes, very easy, plenty of YouTube videos out there, took me about an hour to fit, and I am no mechanic

Thanks, Bongo; I’ve seen the videos, seems simple enough but looks very fiddly! My hands aren’t small enough for nimble work 😂

Those who have had these installed for a while, how are they going? My one concern with aftermarket lights is a he electronics build quality. I see many cars on the road with nice looking aftermarket tail lights with faults like dead LEDs or flicking LEDs so it puts me off

Hi James

Have had mine for nearly a year now, and so far, so good, really happy with them, they really do bring the rear end up to date!

You wouldnt mind showing us some photos of it on your car? The one thing i noticed when seaching google images for it is that in some photo angles the lights look ever so wide and in some angles they look perfect. I compared to the OEM outer lights from 2012 and the OEM one also flares out quite a bit

Thanks. Roughly how many hours of driving with them on do you think you've done? after driving with them on for a while like lets say an hour or so have you tried touching them to see how warm they get? some aftermarket lights i've seen work well in the beginning but because of poor circuit design and poor heat dissipation the LED's start failing or flickering after a while. These do look really good quality though, but ultimately it's about the quality of the electronics inside i guess.

I wouldn't know how many hours of driving I have done with them fitted, but it is a quite a lot, in terms of quality, I think they are very good! I haven't seen any videos yet of people complaining of faults or problems, I have kept my old lights, so if I ever get any issues, I can always I can replace them!
