Hi all, having just purchased my first Lexus, a 2007 is250 se-l which I am over the moon with. My question to see if anyone has the answer is, on my last car as well as on my Lexus, power only goes to the power socket and cigarette lighter when the ingnition is on. I had my last car sorted so it had constant power, can the same be done to a Lexus, has anyone had it done?   Thanks in advance for your comments. Gary

Hi Gary

Welcome to the LOC.

To answer your query, it's possible. I'd imagine the simplest way would be to connect a 12v source to the appropriate fuse in the fusebox.

I'd be cautious though as you run a real risk of having starting issues due to drain on the Battery unless you have a device(s) that will shutdown if the power source drops below a safe level.

Why do you need constant power?

Probably better off looking at this option on the OBD port than juggling the ciggy socket about
