Can someone explain this brake disc info?

Looking online at front discs, and in the fitment detail it says: 282hp 207kw or 283hp 208kw. Both are 315cm, both the same year but only one fits, any idea what that's all about?

I believe the 283hp option refers to the facelift model with the 6-speed transmission. Looking on toyodiy.com the 5 speed 2003 model has a different part code for the front brake disc compared to the 6 speed 2003 model so there is some difference:

Ah, thanks Colin, that makes a lot of sense.  You'd think they would be the same wouldn't you, especially as they're the same diameter.

Not only the same diameter but also the same thickness at 30mm.

The different part codes may well be because of different suppliers or different materials etc, rather than because of a different size and the two may be interchangeable, but without the two side by side it is impossible to be sure.
