This would be the crux of the problem.

Imagine when BMW said they were going to launch M specialist centres how many dealerships would have been interested in the additional revenue stream.

Now imagine Lexus saying the same to their dealerships 😞

Both fair points.

But doesn't stop F-owners on this forum voting for one of them to be '2018 F-dealership of the year'. The price being a certificate to put up in the dealership, a bit of a press release, an icon for their dealership website and perhaps a pinned post at the top of the F-forum, with details of why they won and key contact details. Without being official it would still have the same impact and affect?

Yes, would need to be something outside of the franchise rules/law/in-fighting.

So just print one up now with Cheltenham on it and see if any other dealers want to fight to remove it from them.

However, I am deducting marks off them for their car-park.

I'm not sure that many other lexus franchises would fight for the F centre, the interest/passion for the F cars at Cheltenham is far greater than anything else I've experienced.

I was at Lexus Cheltenham today and my feelings are well known on here about them a very professional approach from all yes the site is a a little tight and parking can be an issue but every other aspect is very good.

I was dropping off a set of isF wheels for a fellow member to be refurbed and Karl the sales manager was kind enough to bring this outside even though it had just been prepped over the last day or two, I think they look great only 10 coming to the UK and Cheltenham chosen to get one.

Found a handy manager to take the wheels..... thanx Sam as always 🤗

I agree with others a separate ‘F’ dealership hasn’t got legs sorry @tomRCFcarbon great idea but the market is to small IMO....

Those callipers should be in all the cars as standard. Love them. Interior is.... well... bit minging and personally I don’t like matte paint.

@Stuno1 Yes I do wonder about the ongoing care of the paint, I like the interior..... well I don’t like the blue steering wheel.... or the blue over the binnacle..... but the rest 🤔

The callipers yes must admit you’ve got me there 😄

Yep, Im loving the orange callipers and it great to see such great feedback about a dealer too. Cheltenham not too far me from relatively speaking and as Lexus Derby couldn't have been less bothered about my interest to buy an ISF I would be happy to travel for great service.   I notice a used ISF at Lexus Cheltenham. Was it someone's on here? I guess its on a thread somewhere that Ive missed as I don't get logged on that regular.

@gb1600e Hi Glynn I think we’ve spoken on here before albeit a while back about Cortina,s !

Anyway the Cheltenham ISF was mine I part exed it back in January they’ve just been unable to sell it the price how do I put it this even though it’s just been reduced is ‘Keen’ 😄

Shes a good car albeit I mentioned a few weeks ago whilst in a compound someone stole the exhaust tips which apparently are on order

If I can help any further feel free to pm me.

Her last picture on the day of sale before I took her to Cheltenham......

Yeah, did wonder if it was yours but thought its was so long ago you changed up it must be a different one. Amazing how dealers are prepared to sit it out to maintain the profit.  Will PM you for some inside knowledge.

I got to see one up close at Goodwood, the matt paint is much better in the flesh, surprised me how good it looked! The interior is beautifully put together but the blue wouldn't be my choice.

I knew you could be relied upon

As for the aesthetics on the carbon I share the same viewpoint as a lot of others, doesn't appeal. Also I have no idea why that blue on the front seats wasn't carried onto the rears.

Maybe it was the same interior designer on this who worked on the mish-mash LC interiors.

@Cezar B you have a good point there for those of us with blue cars.

For the information of @Cezar B and @Martin F when my old callipers were refurbed the feedback from the company was they had never seen incredibly well applied paint as this before and resisted virtually all known methods to remove 😳
