After looking around at the three generations of the LS I have been thinking about going for a later gen car (460), but I think towing ability or lack of it could be a deal breaker.

There is a company called Curt who make towbars for the LS460, does anybody know whether it would be legal to tow with this car/bar combination in the U.K.? and would the 460 likely need enhanced cooling for the gearbox oil?

When I tried to buy one from the USA they wouldn't sell me one.

I don't think they are approved for UK.
