1 I have a voice control button on my 2007 Gs300 that does not work ?press it nothing .

2 when replacing tyres do they have to be a special  type for tpms.

Not sure what you mean about voice control button.

 The tyres are standard tyres but the valves in the rims are not the standard rubber type. Externally they are aluminium, and internally they have a Battery operated pressure sensor with transmitter. A receiver in the car picks up this signal to give low pressure warning.

The sensors are £40 each upwards, and are replaced when the batteries go flat. You can replace the batteries for very little money. Do a search on TPMS Battery replacement.

My GS had the same button, when I pressed it there would be a bleep then you gave it the command.  Mine wasn't great but when i asked it to set the climate temperature it was spot on.
