Hello,

I’ve just joined after literally just acquiring a GS450H. I’ve always been a big Lexus fan and I’ve previously had a RX300. Bought the GS to have an Uber comfortable car - 2 reasons really - I am due to have an op soon and will need something bump absorbing as my current vehicles have very little give in them , one is rock solid and one bounces around like a pea on a drum - and also because our Ayrshire roads are so hard and unforgiving, especially in the winter when lorries create craters not pot holes, and it will probably be prudent to have something comfortable regardless of situation or condition.

The GS has some hybrid issues at the moment so I shall be occupiying the GS technical area quite a lot.😀

Welcome to the LOC!  I've not driven the hybrid but if I've read it can give a Porsche Cayenne a run for its Money!  We did a 2.5k road trip in the GS this year, supremely comfortable.

Welcome to LOC and I feel your pain. My area is the same, craters not potholes, and they have just cosmetic covered them here and there, but my GS suspension after a month was like after 10 years in the south. But fix this, screw that, and IMHO as yours - it is better floating over in lexus or similar, than pay a dentist bill for cracking teeth in normal car here.

I nearly bought the GS450h that was advertised at Lexus Stockport (the red one) but then got the call from Lexus Stoke to buy this (the previous buyer had pulled out of the deal). You've picked the right car in terms of smoothness and serenity. They are other-worldly in that department and very relaxing indeed. I hope the op goes well. Keep strong.
