Just thought I'd share a couple of pic of my Lexus ls400. Had her about a month now. Gave her a full service including sparkplugs etc and had her lpg converted and fixed the air con leak. It also has the half wood steering wheel too.

Yea & history is excellent, 86k miles & all historical advisories (not many) dealt with, who fitted the LPG?

Same colour as mine, when they are cleaned they come as though they have just left the showroom.

Enjoy.

They still look fantastic cars even by today's standards. A little conservative perhaps but the car has lasting style.

Thanks, did you go from their reputation locally or did you pick up good stuff from around, other car sites as example & did you get a courtesy car for the day?.

How did you check service history? Have you got a link to it?

Go to google & type DVLA History, when you get to DVLA site just type car number in where DVLA indicates & the MOT history with all the annual advisories comes up.

That does look nice. They look brand new in that colour when washed and polished. I'm off to a petting farm in stoke today with my little one. She loves it too saying "it's really comfy in here dad"

OP’s looks a spitting image of mine except for my clear side repeaters 😊

Will you do enough miles to warrant/justify LPG?.  I find potential future buyers are put off by LPG, but this may not matter to you.

I drive my car 5 days a week to work and back, and every other weekend to Manchester to see brother in law etc so that justifies having lpg.

I'm not sure why some people are put off by lpg, you save hell of a lot of money if fuel prices.

IMHO they mostly affraid of any "modified" cars. But some say, any invalid fear is always a valid cost of some kind.

Before I got my last one done I did not want just anyone tampering with the engine, it was only because of the excellent write ups on Profess S Wales I got mine done, perfect job.

But, here in London the conversion companies got a very bad reputation for poor instillations which caused lot of probs, i suspect/heard that was down to poorly trained or semi trained staff & the typical London attitude to jump on the bandwagon whilst the money flows, then liquidate &  get out quick

Denis, not only London has a problem with "everybody could be Bob the LPG-Builder". My current GS has LPG system made in Wales with Polish pedigree, and it is far away from perfect. But for example previous GS had "made in Edinburgh" system on Duch and Japanese parts, and it was like the best LPG system in the EU, maybe in the world (my neighbour enjoys her now).

I use LPG in a half of my cars last decade or more. 18 or17 years ago I was like many people "don't [censored] good car with some unholy modifications". Next I tried, even when it was really hard yet, and LPG systems were really primitive. Next I learn about, trained myself, and by the way LPG systems were better and better. Still, like 6 years ago, when we family used like two or three LPG cars, and I mentioned to LPGied thirsty toy (Ford Thunderbird 5.0 😎 ) my wife shouted on me "DONT RUIN V8!!". So we did not ruin V8 🤪

But now, with modern LPG systems and proper installations, and mileage like 80 miles per day in V8, it is no-brainer for me.

The person did mine used to work for a company called profess In Wales some where. He did an old x reg ls400 for me too a few years ago. He's done a good job. It's a stag 330 or 350 lpg system. It's a newer version, I can't remember the exact number it is though

New STAGs are pretty OK, I have one in current GS too. But for example, somebody dropped here evaporator good enough for 6cyl maybe, not enough for V8 in vroooom mode. And hot water feed to evaporator is far from perfect. Etc.etc. This days it is not a problem with LPG components (except cheapest injectors maybe) like 15 years ago, but with people who have no knowledge how put this all together in proper system.

made in Wales with Polish pedigree,

That sounds like profess, they're at Hergoed appx 15-20 miles north of Cardiff but profess LPG systems are made in Poland, Profess is an LPG instilation specialist, the workers are all sent to Poland for training, I think they use  Stag.

I did not bother to look for who made it exactly and too lazy to dig into the papers now (if there is any piece about LPG in this pile of papers). Definitely system is on STAG and other Polish parts. And the car was in Wales most of her life. But as far as I remember there are a few garages in Wales with Polish roots, I found them in the web when looking for LPG parts once or twice.
