Hi I've successfully replace a bulb on drivers side. The bulb on passenger side had gone pink so needed replacing, I've put new bulbs and the light comes on for 2 seconds and then goes out!?

Any ideas please?

Sounds like it's not striking the arc so could be the ballast that's gone faulty, or a loose connection that's not allowing enough power to pass (high resistance), or even the bulb itself - just because it's brand new doesn't mean that it's not faulty.

Thanks Herbie, but it's the second bulb I've tried, 1st was a Lucas and this one is a Ring?

I understand new ballast is £400

Getting it tested by anyone other than a dealer seems to be a problem?

Had same issue on mine, the bulb got pink and eventually started shutting-off after few minutes. I could turn it off/on again and it would work for few minutes again.

I was scared it might be ballast, but just replaced the bulb with good quality aftermarket one and never had issue again - I have used XENARC COOL BLUE INTENSE as these generally have good reputation.
