Two up those are pretty impressive figures for a standard car.

I’ll have to get practicing my 180’s. Far cooler than a 3-pointer! 😎

I must admit to the odd dab to reduce turning circle. Get it right at least 10 percent of the time. :D

It is boring, but if somebody freakin about 0-60 is better than nothing and could be informative but IMHO ONLY if the stop-watch is real next to speedo, not picture-in-picture...

I thought all speedo's were a few mph lower than the  actual GPS speed, e.g. if you are doing 70 on the car speedo, the actualy speed is about 67 - 68 mph?

That plus you need to start the stopwatch exactly as the car starts moving or a few 10ths could have been gained that way. It could be filmed down a hill etc

VBox or similar is the only accurate way.

I've been on many a forum over the years where the consensus has been that the manufacturer downplayed the 0-60 time and the car is actually quicker than published. I see no reason why manufacturers of performance cars would do this personally.

This, trying it with a stopwatch in the car is nonsense, you have introduced another variable, reaction time.......................

Lexus quote a 0-62 mph time, not 0-60. That plus the speedo reads over by 2 to 3 mph at 60 on UK vehicles (different in other countries) means you cannot get an accurate time the way shown in the video.

@Mark G,I tried using a grandfather clock once in a Honda Civic. Was a tight squeeze getting it in the car I can tell you!

I don't think it was very accurate!

Here's the timing equipment -

I employed a local 'racing driver' just for the test -
