AC Compressor Pump RX300

My air conditioning has broken for years now....it can hold the gas which has just been put in but I have been told it needs a new AC Compressor pump.

My car is a lexus RX300 SE Est Auto

 

Any advice on how to buy one without an enormous expense!

You could risk a used one, or if you look on eBay you can buy a refurbished one from the US for about £150 Inc postage. Or you could try Rockauto, also in the US for a new one which would cost you far less than buying a new one here.
