Found an old post from 17/05/2014 regarding a simple question about the location of the low pressure valve,  to top up the aircon.

On the first page of replies there were about 20 posts, but nobody could answer the question.

Everyone wanted to talk about Halfords, ATS and various others, but there was no straight answer to the original query.

There was a layout diagram posted, but that was as much help as an ice cube on a hotplate.

Can anyone definitively locate the low pressure valve. High pressure valve is in front of the radiator. Any useful info would be appreciated.

Thanks.

It is about 5 or 6 inches higher than the high pressure one but BEHIND the radiator, it's difficult to see, you will find an air con rubber pipe there, run your hand down it and you will feel the valve... it's a pain to get to but not impossible...

Look down where the red spot is...

And you will see it....

Good luck

Great Reply !!

Found the valve, minus the cover.  Much smaller than I expected, but it is the Low Pressure side of the system.

Now looking for somebody with small hands and arms to top up the system.

Many thanks!!
