Sat Nav DIsk Update - Firmware

My IS250 has the 2007 maps DVD, it is pretty dated with many POI's missing.  I've read that the latest disks also update the unit's firmware and wondered if there are any other significant improvements as a result?

Nope. Possibly you will get to enter a destination whilst moving if you don't have that already but you really won't get much else other than a more up to date map.

Hi all.

I asked Lexus about a later discs for mine as mine is a 2008=2009 issue one discs iam still awaiting there reply from there multimedia team as i was hopping it would include full post code on it.

I have got '16-'17 installed and it still only takes first 4 digits of a postcode!

My 2017/18 v2 disk arrived a few days ago, unfortunately it doesn't add full post code search.

Systems that only have partial post code input remain that way, no updates provide that functionality unfortunately.

Mine same even though updated with 2017 disc last yr  only thing notice was more roads post code search still same. Mine is 2009. It's works quite good once u know how to use it as at first bit tricky to put Road or post code
