Would anyone know a way of identifying the interior trim colour on my car? Specifically the dash top? The codes on the passenger door sticker don't seem to help and neither are VIN decoders.

It doesn't look black, more a dark grey. But then sometimes it seems to take on a brown colour which I suppose makes sense with the beige seats.

Not sure it'll help, but I have a sales brochure for the IS range which features all the interior options. Maybe some of the colours were also available on an RX.

The sales brochure doesn't give the trim colour, but I can confirm that with my beige leather the door tops, dashboard and steering wheel are all a very dark chocolate brown.

The vin sticker should have the interior colour on it. I'm sure someone will have posted the interior colour combinations on the internet.

I'd had a look at that but unfortunately wasn't any the wiser.

I bought some very dark grey mats in the end and I think they look OK.
