My wife wants to know why it takes me twice as long to vacuum my car as it does to do the house. I tried to explain that the car has double the number of external doors and therefore twice as much crap enters but she wasn't having it!

Honestly though, why is it taking you so long? I can get the RX done in less than 15 minutes including the seats, carpet mats, floors and in the nooks and crannies!

I would but it'd take me longer to get down there than vacuum the car!

Haha I'll have to raise my prices to Lexus standards - £50 for 15 mins vacuum! 😂

Does that mean we get tea, biscuits, a wash, and a courtesy car?

£10 insurance for courtesy car to waive the £1000 excess

Additionally, Courtesy cars are subject to availability...

Seems reasonable.

Surely there'll be an RX sitting idle whilst you're busy?

I did mine today prior to giving it a wash. My wife won't let me put the cleaner round indoors, as she says I don't do it properly.

What is the point of moving furniture ?,  I ask .

And those fancy stripes don't do themselves!

They do if you have the correct type of vacuum cleaner, like some lawnmowers mine has a heavy roller behind the suction head which puts the correct stripes in the carpets, obviously you have to change the opposite direction with every stroke to get the full effect but it’s fairly easy with a little practice 🙂

I'm told you get similar result when the carpet is damp. Either after a proper clean or use a spray bottle and mist the surface. Still going a bit far imo

I find it difficult to believe, but apparently some people pay others to wash and vacuum their car 😲😨

Cant stand those stripes. Look so tacky. Would rather just have a nice clean mat to be honest!
