this is just a simple thing to fix but I just can't figure it out , I've read the manual and tried many different combos but I've set my favourite radio station on number 1 but after about 10 seconds it always just reverts back to radio 1 any one have any ideas ?

Usually you just tune to the desired station, press and hold the preset key (e.g number 1) for 5 to 10 seconds and release. It should update in the display. Does this not happen?

Hi bobmc

yes that's what I did and it does show on the display but after 10 seconds it just keeps going back to radio one ? it seems as if radio is set on permanently? it's doing my head In !

The manual states to hold one of the preset stations until you hear a beep. Are you hearing a beep?

Hi Chris

yes I do hear a beep then it adds itself as number 1

Well that is really odd.  I have just been out to mine to try it and whilst I was able to set the station presets as per the manual I did not get a beep! But, other than not getting a beep it has worked so I'm sorry I don't know what to suggest you try next but I hope you get it sorted.

Radio one does my head in too!

So can you listen to presets 2,3,4,5 and 6 - or does it always go back to preset 1?

What happens if you select FM2 instead of FM1, do those presets work OK?

Otherwise, I think it's a case of disconnect the Battery for 10 to 30 mins to clear all presets. I think there's a guide somewhere about how to initialise the cars systems after a Battery disconnect - might be an idea to find that first.

it's the same for them all

a friend suggested the key might be set to driver settings? which might need to be set?
