Service reminder

This may sound like a silly question but I want to set the service reminder on my car. When I go into the settings screen do I set the miles to when I want the reminder or do I set it to the number of miles till the next service?

It is value when that service is due. You should got reminder shortly before it will reach 0. I'm also using it as it is convenient to mark thing tyres rotation, wiper blades, transmission fluid - in general things which are not covered by standard service plan.
