Top suspension arm ball joint

I wonder if someone can help. I need to get a NS top suspension arm ball joint for my car and have been quoted £296 plus VAT from Lexus Chester. They wouldn’t give me the part number for obvious reasons. From looking online it looks like the balljoint can be bought on its own not as the whole arm as Lexus Chester said. Could anyone help with this? Also for the part number? My car is still on warranty but as the suspension is lowered I don’t think it would be covered.

Based on a 2016 model year IS200T the ball joint is not available as a separate item and is integrated into the UCA, part number is 48630-59065, price is about right I’m afraid for Lexus UK.

Thank you. There are a couple of new ones in Japan which save £125 inc. postage. Not in a huge hurry so may get this and tackle fitting myself.

I've not heard of anyone mention this for a series III.

Series II, including the IS F, uses the same part - there have been mention for those but are much older and covered more miles.

 

Rockauto do a third party product for £27 + tax and shipping. No idea of the quality.

Great thanks, a little nervous about  getting a second hand one but if I hadn’t just bought the new one from RockAuto it would have been worth a look

In terms of fitting it does anyone know if it needs to be at a certain angle? Currently it appears to be very little gap and the balljoint looks almost squashed. I looked at another one at a dealer and the balljoint seems to be bigger / have more gap when joined to the other suspension part. Could this be to do with it being lowered?
