I had an accident a couple of days ago on the N.S..mirror. The glass is ok, the problem is two small clips have broken away, does  anyone know what I can do  to repair it.

These are the photographs  of the outside of the mirror  and the inside ,the inside is where the  two clips have gone missing from. Any INFO could help

Cheers Norman.

Hello Norman.

I had the same thing happen to me a few years ago with an American pickup truck I had. It was not convenient to buy any replacement parts so I just "fixed" it by using a few blobs of No More Nails.

It was as good as new and was firmly attached for the rest of the time I owned the truck.

I hope this helps.

I was going to suggest exactly the same - it's very unlikely you will need to remove again, so if you have a mirror the right size use epoxy resin or from the pound shop 'flexi glue' it secures but remains flexible and even a bit tacky to the touch.

Cheers Guys: I will try that, the mirror is the right size it is the original one ,no damage to it.
