Hi all. New to this forum...apologies if this post is in the wrong bit... just trying to find some advice from people who might already know this - I have an IS300, from 2002. It seems to ride a bit high, especially at the back. Do you know how to go about lowering it slightly? Not sure of the best way to go about this (1" at front, 2" at rear maybe...). Hope you can help...

Hi Nick and a warm welcome to the club.

Lovely looking Sportcross you have, a fantastic colour.

With regard to your suspension ride height, looking at the picture it looks correct for standard, they all look a little high at the rear, mine looked the same. Should you wish to lower it you would need to look at changing dampers and springs for after market items. A quick search on here will hopefully bring up some helpful threads and I'm sure someone from the club will post a more detailed response soon.

Best of luck with what ever you choose and keep us updated as to how you get on.

Hi, i previously had an IS300 in blue, like yours, however it was a bit darker. Best car I ever had. I'm enclosing a pic as it shows the suspension height looking almost identical. Unless you want to lower it, and I suspect the ride would become firmer, I don't think there is anything wrong there. You have a very rare car there. Enjoy it

Great looking cars...

H&R produce a set of their excellent lowering springs for the Sportcross, and this is the stance they leave you with.

awesome photos, thanks very much for replying all... will have a search around on this forum as suggested. Maybe you're right though and I'll leave as is for now and see how it goes - haven't had the car long so will spend some more time in it
