We went to the seaside via London

Always enjoy little journeys out with my F buddies. Yesterday we did something different - a night blat.

@Mark G came up with the idea of driving from the South West, through London and on to the East coast to watch the sun come up.

So, yesterday evening, we met at Membury services (on the M4) and together with @emjay82 drove through the night.

Here are some pics from our little adventure!

Great pictures. How exciting those days were, life was much slower in those days but we always seemed to have a lot of fun and excitement.

A great trip, a new idea and one we can do again in the future, through London in the middle of the night is always interesting, nice quiet roads once out of London, even a little bit of drama when I thought I had a mechanical problem with the car................I know, what a ridiculous notion...........everything was fine, and a spectacular sunrise to finish off, we made it with 9 minutes to spare.

Fantastic trip, had a bit of everything. Weaving through the London streets, open roads down to the coast, washed down with coffee and cake... ☺.
