so today decided to check all fuses but all seem ok.

I have small issue here and not sure about it. if you look at picture below, according to book 5A fuse VSSR POWER CONTROL SYSTEM should be in bottom slot but at the moment its in top slot. I am scared to move it.

Can I just try it ? what would happen ?

also took door apart and wondering if this control module is at fault, I have ordered one from eBay and lets see.

The door ECUs are reliable but I guess could be at fault. You must have power to the ECU because some of the door functions are working - that is powered through the cabin fuses, not the engine bay fuse box.

Me personally would swap the fuse around, cant see anything going wrong putting a fuse into the empty slot, also might of been worth swapping module with other side to see if it was at fault.....

Connector is not getting any power when I tested it with test meter, but when you connect module power comes in. SO i think module must be connected to draw power.
with module connected i noticed power is coming in but not going out to other bits connected to module as in, light, sun shade motor, actuator, small LED etc.
So i am guessing its defo module unit at fault. I have ordered one from breakers so lets see when it turns up. I will report back. Thanks

Just be careful. If a shorted motor blew the control board it could do the same to the new one.

Good point. But how can I avoid this happening again.

I am wondering how to test new module carefully? So this doesn’t happen. Any precautions ?
