Every time I come on the site, I get the message 'Our site uses cookies to improve your experience...' etc..

This isn't true.

It doesn't 'improve my experience of the site'.

It merely allows my useage to be harvested, plus it sends me adverts related to (what some algorrythm THINKS) I'm interested in.

Test it. Look up some stupid thing on eBay, - say Dustbins - and you'll find references to Dustbins appearing at the side of sites you visit.

Doesn't work on me -  I tend to vow never to buy stuff advertised this way. But it IS annoying, (and uses up FAR too much of your computer)

I access the site via GOOGLE and can`t say that I have noticed such a message.

Have you considered downloading  Adblock Plus.  ?

You'll still get a pop up for the Lexus RX450H but little else.

Also stops that pre-advertising on U tube which is so annoying.

My Adblocker was downloaded free from the Internet.

Either install adblocker or join premium membership for a much improved experience.

Unfortunately forums with 17 years of useful information don't grow on trees.
