As above has anyone used them for small scratches and the like. Some low life decided to scratch the rear quarter on my car. Scratch is approx 8 inches will not buff out.

In this case the finished repair will only be as good as the person doing it - I would try to get personal recommendations when trying to search for this sort of service - If this is not possible - It might help if you ask chipsaway if you can look at an example of their current work.

I have used them for a stone chip on the front edge of my bonnet. I was very pleased with the job and the price, but I agree with what Mark has said regarding  the skill of the specialist and looking at work recently completed.

On price what am i looking at roughly. Obviously i know its dependent on the damage and area you live. I would normally use a body shop but to me it only a spot repair.

I will let you know what he says he is coming to my work place tonight. If i am quoted that i will go see guy who normally paints my cars. Full facility's and spray booth.

Someone I know was quoted £120 for quite a small scratch.

I've been quoted £220 for a 2 inch scratch and dent on an A pillar. Both of these were for indoor repairs, possibly with access to a courtesy car - the good franchises won't do outdoor repairs.
