Lexus is300 courtesy lights

Hi fellas been a member for a while never posted before help needed ive tried to put lexus logo lights in connected to the red door courtesy lights i put the wires the wrong way round on the drivers door its now stopped working i did passanger side fine all good ive tested the wires still getting power but very little any ideas guys would be much appreciated thanks

Hi Simon, welcome to the LOC. Sorry that your question has been overlooked. 

I'm very much of the 'if it's not broke, don't fix it' school of car mechanics (lots of bitter experience!) so can't really offer you any help. Can it be as simple as an in-line fuse? I assume the doors are on the same fuse in the box but is there another one in each door. If it's of help, I have a PDF of the IS300 workshop manual.

Thanks for the info much appreciated I've checked the fuses all good think it has a bad earth on these wires somewhere I'll keep on digging cheers
