As we've now got all our accommodation booked for our Spring roadtrip I was wondering if the GS has any facility for adjusting the headlights for European driving.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Phil,

If your dipped beam is flat as mine is there is nothing to do. (The flat beam is why it is difficult to see if AFS is working.)

I think from memory some LOC members have found it helpful to carry a letter from Lexus GB to convince the local constabulary though.Try a forum search on "headlights in Europe" or something.

Took the GS450h to Italy twice and no issues at all. Lexus advised no adjustment necessary for European driving as it is a flat beam.

Thank you gentlemen.  I do seem to remember reading, and I can't remember where, that if you have HID's then it's OK.  I will do a bit more checking of course.

We're hopefully traveling down to the South of France this summer, so good to know about the lights.

Yep if you have HID lights then you have a virtually flat beam projection. There is certainly no kick up aimed at the nearside pavement/kerb area.

I carry a letter copy with all my other 'bits' for euro travelling.

Got it here

Just change the RX350 bit to your vehicle....jobs a good 'un
