My RCF is sold now. No more F for me. I has been great to own this car, never failed to make me smile daily.

It took a very long while to find a fitting replacement for the RCF. Criteria was at least 8 cylinders. Drivers car. Rare. Easy(ish) to live with. Not an obvious choice. I think I nailed it.

I've always loved the 928.

It’s a good and rare one too. 928 S4 Sport manual. The closest we got to a ClubSport in this country and only about 30brought to the UK. One of about 20 left. 
 

It’s quite shockingly quick. Feels much quicker than the RCF, even though it isn’t, but I guess less driver aids, less sound deadening, less refined makes for a much more visceral experience. 
 

And those lights! ❤️

What a great choice, I have always thought about buying one, yours looks like a minter. Enjoy.

It is a good one, I think. Only 83,000 miles. Mechanically sympathetic/knowledgeable owner since the mid nineties. There’s a couple of taste malfunctions - hangovers from the nineties - that need to be put right. But the important stuff is sound. Going to have belts changed, wheels reconditioned and the car retouched in a couple of places, but mostly just paint corrected as it’s original paint. Interior is near mint. Has the toolkit. Books. Space saver. Pump. I’m in love.

I mean it's not an F.... 

But, I decided to do something different over the last couple of months 😅

And purchased a very different type of new wheels to fly around on. 

 

Should keep me entertained till I decide on the lc500 or not 😅

So I’m not on here much at all now but I see a few have mentioned they’ve passed onto pastures new …..like @Arnett I did consider an LC 500 and was going to order a new vehicle but decided to take full retirement instead and Mrs Rat and me are off travelling around Europe….in this….

But the petrolhead in me isn’t giving up completely so I’ve got this as well….it’s hilarious to drive….

So I’ll be dragging the Abarth behind the motor home in this country just to slow down all you ‘F’ Fellas ☺️

Man what a retirement journey your gonna have, a friend of mine done similar around Europe and then the USA. 

Besides once your home and resettled an LC will be easy to come by.
