So the ‘F’ didn’t feel left out at this time of year, bought her a present, although used, still very nice. 😎  should work nicely with my Toms filter.

Looks like at least 5bhp every day!

pleased that the throttle body was still clean after nearly 43k miles.

Got mine an MOT and an intermediate service from Lexus in Poole followed by a protective coating of road salt from driving around during the festive period.

I had a 20% discount code for eBay so I ordered a Bayson R front lip from the US, I'll post up some pics once it arrives.

Do you notice much difference in throttle response and induction noise with the HPS intake pipe fitted? I've been looking at them myself.

Not been out in it yet. Will post up when I have. Hope it gives a little more induction noise

You are right. It broke today. Back it goes. Dyson V6 or GTek may be the next investment.

Pardon me for skipping across the void/chasm to the "sporty" section, but I can't help thinking Big Rat should be nominated for the forum's comedian award!

@The-Acre

Phil that is very kind of you and I couldn’t agree more....... so it’s something I have done to a fine art there is a very nice chap on here called @Flytvr Now our Davi is a fine figure of a man tall dark handsome, on a Lexus trip away recently I was responsible for the accommodation so thought it amusing that he had the room with the 4’6” bed now I know he’s 6’ 4” but being a builder maths is not my strong point.......

Well everyone else thought it was funny........:yahoo:

You get a much deeper tone with the HPS in place, especially once the 2nd intake opens up.

Had mine on since the week after I had the car so can’t really comment on throttle response but the car sounds much nicer, lots more induction noise with the HPS in place.

Apparently they are less of a heat magnet than the metal ones but i’d always assume the metal or hard plastic ones would deform less under load.

they are nice bits of kit either way!

The bolts on the t clamps are way too long though!

Took mine off again and cut them much shorter

Went out for a while today, slightly deeper intake noise than before. The exhaust tends to take over when the secondary air box flap opens. Probably more noticeable with a standard exhaust.

Does sound good when giving it the beans!

Fitted my USRS bushes, an Apexi throttle controller and got some personalised plates. Got more presents than me :wink3:

Snapped up an Apexi controller on the eBay 20% sale for 105 quid including harness which wasn't to bad!

Then when I was already skint, due to the usual Christmas excess, a pair of USRS appeared on the 'Bay which I couldn't let slip.

Money does grow on tree's right?!

Plus some Lexus 'F' racing branded car mats.

Will get some pics up soon.

That picture on eBay is my car 😁it takes a bit of fiddling to get the OEM mesh to fit but well worth it for the price I thought.

What mode have you been using? I'm tempted to just leave it on red all the time! White is suppose to be normal, but it feels so sluggish now and flickers as if the controller is still doing something.
